Before ingredients ever enter out factories, we have technology that lets us guarantee they're high quality. How? Our hand-held MicroPhazir tool lets us analyze products, confirm the ingredient identity in five seconds - for every raw ingredient that we source. This technology has been tailored to our need and it is being implemented in every single one of our facilities in the U.S. and Canada to ensure that we provide high quality pet food.

We switched to a lighter, yet stronger material for dog food bags to cut excess weight.

Since 2006 we’ve cut water usage at our wet-food manufacturing sites by more than 23%.

Countdown to Zero Waste

We are proud to say that five of our factories don’t contribute to land fills. What does that mean exactly? It means that everything our facility disposes of – from packaging to food waste – goes somewhere that specializes in recovering its value. It might be recycled or composted or even turned into energy. We’ve been on this mission since 2010 and have already reduced our overall waste by 35%, but we won’t rest until we hit our 2020 goal of zero waste for all of our factories.
